Refund Policy

Digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered. Limited exceptions for technical defects. The short version of a fair deal.

The default rule

Weave Press publications are digital files. Once a PDF has been delivered to your WhatsApp or email, the file is yours, the order cannot be undone. For that reason, digital downloads are non-refundable once delivered.

We recommend reading the publication's preview, sample pages, and description carefully before paying. If anything is unclear, write first.

When we will refund

We will refund (or, if you prefer, redeliver) in the following situations:

  • The file is corrupted, it will not open, or pages are missing, or the PDF is unreadable on a standard PDF reader.
  • The wrong file was sent, you paid for one publication and received another.
  • A serious technical defect in the file makes it unusable for the purpose described on the product page.

In any of these cases, we will first try to redeliver a clean copy. If redelivery does not solve it, we will issue a full refund within 7 working days of confirming the issue.

How to ask

Email wilfred.desouza1996@gmail.com from the address you used to buy. Include:

  • The publication you bought
  • The UPI transaction reference number (UTR) for your payment
  • A short description of the issue
  • If possible, a screenshot of what is going wrong

We aim to reply within two working days.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are paid back to the same UPI account you used for the original payment. We do not refund to a different account or bank.

What we will not refund

To keep this fair for everyone, we will refuse a refund where:

  • The file was delivered intact and the request appears to be an attempt to keep the PDF and recover the price ("download and refund").
  • There is evidence the PDF has been shared, uploaded, or redistributed in any form.
  • The buyer simply changed their mind after reading the material.
  • The buyer did not like the content or disagreed with the views expressed. The publication's scope is described on its product page; please read that before paying.

Student pricing, abuse

If a buyer paid the student price without being a current student, that is not a refund issue but a pricing one. In that case, we may reverse the discount and recover the full price, or revoke the licence to the publication. See our Terms & Conditions.

Goodwill

The rules above are the limit of what we are obliged to do. In real life, we tend to err on the side of being kind. If you write to us in good faith with a problem, we will try to make it right, even where we did not strictly have to.
